  • Western Fair District holds patron safety in the utmost importance and all rides undergo thorough inspection. Inspections are carried out by our midway provider's own safety inspectors, inspectors from the Provincial Technical Standards and Safety Authority, and an independent engineering firm that specializes in ride inspections. These safety practices take place prior to opening day and continue each day of the Fair's 10-day run to ensure the highest standards and industry best practices are maintained.

  • The Super Pass is the best deal — it includes both Fair admission and unlimited midway rides all day for $50 in advance. If you're planning to ride all day, the Super Pass saves you significantly over buying admission and ride credits separately. You can also purchase ride credits on site if you prefer a pay-per-ride option.

  • Yes — all riders, including adults accompanying children, need their own ticket or ride pass.

  • Many rides involve spinning, high speeds, sudden drops, or high G-forces. If you have a heart condition, back or neck problems, are pregnant, or have recently had surgery, we recommend checking with your doctor before riding.

  • The Front of the Line pass is a Super Pass add-on that gives you express access at midway rides. It must be purchased in addition to a Super Pass and is not available as a standalone ticket. Check with ride operators on the day for specific instructions on how to use the express line at each ride.

  • Every ride listing on this page shows the minimum height requirement. Height requirements are strictly enforced for your child's safety. We recommend measuring your child before arriving so you can plan which rides they're able to enjoy.

  • The Western Fair runs rain or shine. Rides will continue to operate in light rain. However, all rides will be temporarily shut down if lightning is detected in the area. Rides will resume once conditions are safe.

  • Yes — re-entry is permitted. Hold onto your admission ticket or have your hand stamped at the exit gate. Note that you will need to pass through the entrance again like any other guest.
