A perfect night, hour by hour!
You don't have to follow this. But if you want someone else to do the planning, here it is.
5:00 PM - Arrive early, eat cheap
Get in before 6 PM and hit the $6 Before 6 food specials. Split a few things instead of committing to one meal. Try the Filipino poutine at Kuya Jay's or the birria tacos at Mexican Street Food.
6:00 PM - Lose money at the games
Ring toss, balloon darts, the high striker. One of you will insist you've almost got it. Nobody is leaving until somebody wins something.
6:30 PM - Watch something ridiculous
Head to the Carousel Stage for the nightly competition. Cow Call Idol, Whisker Wars, Poop the Potato. You will laugh. You might enter.
7:30 PM - Hit the midway
Ring of Fire, Mega Drop, or the Crazy Mouse if you want adrenaline. Or Tilt-A-Whirl and the Scooters if you want to laugh instead of scream.
8:30 PM - Giant Wheel at golden hour
Ninety feet up, the whole midway lit below you, the London skyline behind. This is the photo you'll actually keep.
9:00 PM - Live music to close it out
The Bud Light Music Garden runs every single night. Rock, country, tribute acts, Norteño, hip hop. Grab a drink, find a spot, stay till the last song.

Half the fun is watching each other fail at these.
One of you is carrying home a giant stuffed banana either way.
Balloon Darts
Three darts, a wall of balloons, and far too much confidence. Pop two in a row and you own the night.
Water Gun Race
The only game where you're racing each other. First balloon to pop wins, and the winner picks the next ride.
High Striker
Swing the hammer, ring the bell, act surprised. The showman classic that has never once gotten old.
Basketball Hoops
Those rims are smaller than they look and you will find that out fast. Sink one and you'll bring it up for years.

Ring Toss
The one everybody thinks they're good at. Land your rings, pick your prize, and let the loser buy the lemonade.
Milk Bottle Knockdown
Looks easy from the outside. It is not. Clear all three and the big prize wall opens up.

Surf some big waves as you soar 55 feet high on the Western Fair midway. Like any high-riding surfer, the downward plunge comes with a heart-stopping free-fall. Hold on tight for this midway mega thrill!
** Riders must stand upright and alone throughout this spinning ride. Riders must be able to withstand spinning at a high rate of speed. Riders must ascend/ descend entry/ exit stairs.

A "wheel" good time! North American Midway Entertainment's Giant Wheel is a sight to behold and provides a magnificent view of the Fair. Gently float 90 feet up in these huge gondolas with 6-8 of your besties! Views of the whole midway and the London skyline make for the best scroll-stopping selfies. Romantic, thrilling, and totally unforgettable!

Plummet into excitement! Ascending calmly to a pleasant view at 135 feet, don’t get too comfortable because Mega Drop is waiting to pull the seat out from under you. It’s an adrenaline-pumping thrill ride that’ll leave you screaming with delight! If you live for that intense freefall sensation, this is the ultimate drop you’ve been searching for!
** Riders will ascend to a height of 120’ and free fall back to the platform. Riders must ascend/ descend stairs at entry/ exit.

Far from your regular waltz, this ride sends you to dance among the constellations! Take your seat and in the “claw” and harness in tight – It’s going to be a wild ride. Star Dancer will swing, flip, and twist you upside down, soaring 70 feet high and eventually building you to flip for a 360° loop! Perfect for thrill-seekers: just hold on tight and pay no attention to where the ground really is.

Now this is one EPIC wave… The Wave Swinger is an absolute masterpiece. Riders fly over the crowd in rushing swoops and take in mega views of the whole party below. This midway icon is pure bliss for young and old.
** This is a swing ride that attains a height of 60 ft above ground. Riders must negotiate stairs for entry/ exit.

Absolutely. Strollers and small wagons are welcome on the grounds. Just a heads-up: they can't come on the rides with you.

Yes! Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are welcome. Please be prepared for a security check when entering the Fair. Alcohol brought from outside is not permitted on the grounds. Free chilled filtered water stations are also available throughout the Fair, so bring a water bottle and stay hydrated!

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. All rides are inspected by our midway provider's safety team, inspectors from the Provincial Technical Standards and Safety Authority, and an independent engineering firm that specializes in ride inspections. This happens before opening day and continues every single day of the Fair.

Yes! Two sensory pods are set up on site with foam mats, noise-cancelling earmuffs, and other calming tools. Find them near the Horticulture section of the J-AAR Expo Centre and beside the Guest Services booth in Kiddyland.

Designed for children with special needs aged 3 to 12, this special morning at the Western Fair offers rides, animals, entertainment, and lunch in a calm, sensory-friendly environment before the public gates open.
